Chapel of Rest
Written and Directed by Iain Cash
Plot Outline
In a quiet funeral home during the pandemic, a seemingly routine encounter between a visiting priest and a funeral director takes a dark and unexpected turn. As they exchange small talk over tea beside a sealed coffin, their conversation slowly peels back the layers of grief, guilt, and long-buried trauma. What begins as an innocuous meeting becomes a chilling tale of revenge, justice, and the consequences of silence.
Genre
Psychological Thriller / Drama
The film blends slow-burning tension with a claustrophobic, character driven atmosphere. Set in a single location, it relies on sharp dialogue and gradually unfolding revelations to deliver a gut-punch of an ending.
